DC motor controller

The M2-FESTO-4-24 module is a four-quadrant motor controller with speed control for brush-based
DC motors with adjustable overcurrent monitoring for use in industrial applications. They switch on and off the motor and control its actuation. Overcurrent deactivation can be configured for the control. When the overcurrent set is reached, the motor cuts out, the red LED is illuminated and the "Ready" output switches to GND. An analog input is available for external speed specification. For connecting voltages greater than
11.5 V (24 V), the internal speed specification is used.

The motor controller offers the following functions:

  • Controlling 24V motors, 4 A
  • Anti-clockwise/clockwise rotation
  • Speed control (internal/external)
  • Overcurrent deactivation
  • Short circuit detection
  • Quick stop
  • Limit switch detection
