This application module is an extension component for Equipment set TP 1013 Basic principles of control technology. It allows students to study controls in a closed-loop system.
The module allows for 2 functions: light control and temperature control.
The module operates a halogen light bulb that produces light and heat inside a tunnel. There are two sensors, one for light intensity and one for Temperature sensing. A fan and a damper allow to vary the flow of air entering the tunnel, thus the temperature behaviour of the unit.
