The prime minister of Russia at INNOPROM 2012

Dmitry Medvedev and the learning system MPS®-210.


The prime minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev visited the booth of Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant of CHTPZ Group at the INNOPROM exhibition, which was held from July 12 to 15, 2012 in Yekaterinburg.

The main focuses were industrial innovation technologies and the project "The Future of the white metallurgy". This project was implemented in partnership with the Government of the region Sverdlovsk on the basis of metallurgical College and Training Centre of CHTPZ in Pervouralsk. This project – provided by Festo Didactic Russia – became in fact the first project of dual vocational education system in Russia.

During this visit the shareholder of CHTPZ Andrey Komarov and head of Festo Didactic Russia Andrey Shpitov spoke to Dmitry Medvedev about this project and about the possibilities of Festo Didactic learning systems for professional education for Industry. The prime minister learned about MPS®-210 that also helps to prepare Mechatronics competition teams for WorldSkills events.

"It is a very important project. I have just spoken with colleagues from Siemens and their main problem is to get professional workers" said Mr. Medvedev – this news was shown by all national TV channels.
