The objectives were:

The implementation of TPM (starting with pilot and extending to whole production)

  • objective to increase OEE in one year to 65% on the pilot machine.
  • increase OEE a minimum of 10% on remaining machines in Fabrication over one year.

Levelling the Production Schedule

  • create a production matrix based on historical demand to develop a smooth sequence for the GV630 production, and present findings

Implementing a Pull System

  • create and implement a system for the WEMO by end of first quarter 2008
  • optimization of pull system in assembly area by beginning of 3rd quarter 2007
