Policy Alignment with African Union

In order to develop more demand driven Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and tertiary education towards employability and entrepreneurship, we aim to align our activities and solutions with the African Union education policy. In a meeting on March 4th, 2019 a first discussion took place with Dr. Beatrice Khamati Njenga, the Education Director of African Union and her team. We have intensively discussed about private sector engagement, skills development, the introduction of STEM, academia curriculum in Industry 3.0 and 4.0, as well as teacher training. A Further workshop with the African Union to work on a common agenda is scheduled for end of June 2019.
