Industrial Training Center Sinde
Project Description
The German Government, acting through the "Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau" (KfW) in Frankfurt, has granted subsidies to the Ministry of Industry (MoI) at Naypyitaw for the procurement of equipment for the Vocational Training Programme Sinde.
The purpose of the project is to improve students’ technical skills, in order to increase their employability. Thereby, poverty and unemployment will decrease in the long run supporting the local economy.
The Industrial Training Center houses many different labs – Electronics, Mechatronics, Control, Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Building Automation lab, Refrigeration AC workshop, Automation workshop, Machine Operator workshop, Basic Tool & Die-workshop, CNC workshop, EDM workshop, Measurement workshop, Mould Making Assembly workshop, Drawing lab, CNC-CAM simulation lab, Basic metal lab, Machinery fitter workshop and Advanced Welding workshop
The center has been established in 2016/2017.
