Description of partner organisation
Duoc UC is a state-acknowledged private institution of higher education. It was founded in 1968 and belongs to the network of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Duoc UC houses nine academic schools, among them the School of Engineering, the School of Information Technology and the School of Business and Administration. The schools are distributed over 16 campuses on different locations and offer study programs to more than 94,000 students. Description of FACT Centre

The FACT Centre Santiago has a training laboratory that houses five working stations which simulate automated industrial processes like distribution, measurement, collaborative robots, classification and storage. The working stations are wirelessly interlinked and form an Industry 4.0 production network. Among the Industry 4.0 related technologies are M2M communication, SCADA, mobile robotics and RFID. Students of the FACT Centre have the chance to acquire practical knowledge and skills in Industry 4.0 and to receive an internationally acknowledged certificate.
