Description of partner organisation
The Caribbean Maritime University strives to redefine the boundaries of maritime education by integrating technical education, life skills and academia into equipping graduates with global competences for a changing workforce. To effectively serve our students and other stakeholders, we invest in technology and inspire innovation at every level of operation. Thus, students receive the unique opportunity to take advantage of developments which support them in their preparation for the dynamic world of work in the maritime, shipping, logistics and engineering industries and associated sectors.

Description of FACT Centre
The FACT Centre revolutionizes the way engineers, technicians and persons working or seeking to work in engineering and related fields are trained in the Caribbean. The Centre offers of a huge training capacity which includes a range of training programs in areas such as automation and mechatronics and comprises short courses with industry certification for professionals in companies. This means that the FACT Centre does not only train the engineers of the future but also re-equips employees with skills for the fourth industrial revolution.
