New training available including tour at Festo plant.

Increasing product variants, ever shorter delivery times and an unstable number of customer orders – these are the typical challenges manufacturing companies face.
Since 2006 the Festo plant in Rohrbach uses the Theory of Constraints (ToC) with great success.
Theory of Constraints is based on the premise that the rate of revenue generation is limited by at least one constraining process – a bottleneck.
Only by increasing throughput – or flow – at the bottleneck process can overall throughput be increased.
Festo offers now a training on ToC. It is divided into 2 simulations where different elements of a bottleneck-oriented scheduling are examined in theory and handson training.
The 2-day seminar can be used to sensitise people customers to the topic.
The training includes a tour in Rohrbach where customers and can experience ToC in action.
In 2007 we have conducted training with General Electric (Hungary) and Schuler
AG in Germany (hydraulics presses).
