New FACT centre in Mexico

at the Polytechnic University of San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
Festo Mexico has received an order for a FACT centre at the Polytechnic University of San Luis Potosi.
The order includes an iCIM installation, an AFB (Agriculture, Food and Beverage) factory and several Training Packages.
An interesting aspect is the social motivation behind the founding of this FACT centre. Many students have to drop out of their courses because their families cannot support their education financially.
In the past this has meant that they have achieved no recognised form of qualification. The FACT centre will continuously train university students in different aspects of automation and issue them a joint certificate with Festo for each module completed. This will provide students who have to terminate their studies with an marketable intermediate qualification.
