The Business Simulation opens people's eyes to waste in the production process.

In a number of rounds the participants continously improve a small production plant that is assembling and testing MPS workpiece cylinders.
They work against the clock producing parts in the 45 minute round, then analyse what happened, discuss improvements and implement them before starting the next round. Key Productivity Indicators (KPIs) such as quality and delivery rate are carefully measured and logged by the coaches. At the end of the Business Simulation the participants have many ideas about production philosophies, lean production, kanban, one piece flow, SMED, etc and know why they are necessary for a plant. The Business Simulation was played 2 times in the 9 days and 27 employees from the Bosch Siemens Household plant in Cerkezköy took part. After the evaluations of the Business Simulation in BSH, the management and Festo Turkey agreed to run further trainings.
