37 teams of three persons participated in the event, held at College of Dunaújváros in April 2010.
Thereof 15 university student teams and 9 secondary school pupil teams.
The first three teams of secondary schools will progress to the hungarian final next year to decide who will travel to London WorldSkills2011 for representing Hungary in Mobile Robotics
The winner university team, „Pollino” of Pécs University of Science (Pollack Technical Faculty) will travel to Singapore for RoboCup2010 to participate in Festo Logistics Competition.
30 Robotinos have been running continuously in the sports hall, two days long. The teams have been testing in the hall and competing in parallel in two Robotino Arenas. A complete „Robotic playground” has been setup for the public. Eye-catcher AirJelly has been cruising in the air space of the hall.
Festo Air-Car could be driven by visitors
Robotino became a goalkeeper (very similar solution to RoboCup’s Small Size League soccer robots)
Robotino @ home– serving visitors with coloured ballpens (blue….red…or green – on demand). Demand was given by showing one of 3 tables „RED”, „GREEN” and „BLUE” in front of Robotinos camera.
