Hannover Fair 2018

"Learning goes digital" at Hannover Fair 2018 April 23 – 27

At our booth D11 in hall 15 we show you how virtual reality supports learning.
Using our CP Factory, we demonstrate learning systems, methods, and tools for qualification for virtual maintenance and cyber security. Based on CIROS VR, a simulation software, you will be able to take a look at the learning content of further modules as well as a complete CP Factory as a reflection of a real production plant. With the help of VR glasses, you can move along different stations and dive into the virtual world accomplishing tasks virtually instead of on the physical plant.

Our learning system MPS® 203 I4.0 is networked and covers topics like MES, IoT, and Big Data providing an excellent basis for the qualification for virtual commissioning. On our booth, you will learn how the Festo Didactic AR-App serves as a direct learning support medium and how students can use the Festo Didactic QR-App to access all relevant information.

Tec2Screen®, our interactive and multimedia learning companion, vividly conveys the principle of connected learning creating a new dimension of learning by seamlessly connection virtual and real world.

Premiere of the Bionics Kit. In the course of our interactive educational concept Bionics4Education we developed a bionics training kit for practical learning, which contains components for 3 different animal robots: a bionic fish, a chameleon gripper, and an elephant’s trunk. The project aims to excite kids and adolescents with the help of bionically inspired projects for MINT and bionic topics by making technology perceptible and imparting essential competencies with fun and joy. Discover it for yourselves!

How mature is your company with regards to Industry 4.0?

Training and Consulting gives an answer using a digital questionnaire, the so called “Quick-Check”. Subsequently we are happy to provide consulting.

As a guest on our booth: The University of Applied Sciences Dresden
The working group Smart Production Systems created a new research and evaluation infrastructure for IoT solutions in the field of manufacturing, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Test Bed. Using our CP Factory, it realistically replicates complex manufacturing and logistics processes for research purposes. A live stream enables you to get insights in the model factory and allows for a virtual tour through the plant.
