First FACT centre in the Middle East

A new Festo Authorized and Certified Training Centre has been established in the northern part of Oman as the first of its kind in the Middle East.
The FACT centre is located at the Shinaz Vocational College, around 300 kilometres north of the capital Muscat.
The college itself is under the umbrella the Ministry of Manpower, which is currently intending to extend the training activities towards Mechatronics in all colleges. As for the FACT Centre itself, currently the  aboratory covers Basic Mechatronic Technologies, such as Pneumatics, Hydraulics and PLC. In the near future, another laboratory will be added including an entire Learning factory for hybrid production systems.
