Festo Didactic Austria has become the first technical training provider to win education certification from the State of Lower Austria.
10/16/2007
The list of qualification criteria is long – from infrastructure of the training institute to gender mainstreaming – but the benefits considerable. Once certified, up to 80% of the course fees are paid to the participant by the state of Lower Austria. Currently around 50 organisations – from wellness and welfare centres to colleges of further education – have qualified for certification. Festo is the first in the field of Training and Consulting.
Lower Austria is thus following a European Union policy of improving quality in education. The state of Lower Austria has doubled the budget this year to 4 Mio € – a positive trend for training.
The certification will now be rolled out nation-wide in order to bring order and quality into training.
The certificate was presented to Hermann Studnitzka during a ceremony in St. Pölten by the Dr. Petra Bohuslav, District chief executive for Work Welfare, Sport and Culture and Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Jütte, head of the certification authority.
