Fieldbus technology AS-interface, equipment set TP 401-ASI

AS-interface, the actuator-sensor interface, is a fieldbus system for the lowest field level of automation. It allows networking of binary sensors and actuators with the control level. 

A series of five graduated exercises provide an introduction to AS-interface technology and consolidate what has already been learned. The S7-300 is required to demonstrate the exercises and solutions. The participants learn about the various stations in an ASi network by completing the exercises. Once finished they should be able to build, understand, program and troubleshoot AS-interface networks.

Prerequisites

• A SIMATIC S7-300 with AS-interface master is required for solution of the exercises in this training package.
• The equipment set TP 201 or TP 301 is also required for solution of the exercises. Or additionally order the supplementary TP 400 component set.
